HUSEYIN TORGUT

Sports Therapist, BSc, MSTA

Graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2003 with a BSc Sports Therapy (Hons) degree from the University of Birmingham with active membership of the Sports Therapy Association and qualified to ITMFF standard of Emergency First Aid.

 

Hus started professional career at hometown football club Tamworth FC, before moving to Barnet Fc and finally Charlton FC accruing over 15 years of professional football experience. Working daily with professional and elite athletes within a football basis combining a multi faceted approach including sports massage, soft-tissue manipulation, functional training and strength and conditioning work.

 

Hus is also experienced in the application of cupping therapy, electrotherapy and cryotherapy modalities.

Most recently the Head of Medical at Dover Athletic Football Club in the National League.

Clinical Interests include Return to play phase of injury, Tendon Injuries.

GARY FABER

Physiotherapist, BSc, HCPC, MCSP,

Gary holds a BSc in Physiotherapy (Hons) from Brunel University, and is currently a member of both the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the HCPC. He is certified to carry out stitching and suturing, Strength and Conditioning in athletes (level3) & sports massage.

Gary is both vastly skilled and experienced in his field, with 15 years experience within the NHS and 6 years CAT 2 Academy Football, with Charlton Athletic & West Ham United amongst his previous employers.

Furthermore, Gary has international tournament experience where he was a physio for Charlton Athletic in the Gothia Cup in Sweden. 

Gary is currently the Head of Medical at Gillingham Football Club.

Clinical interests include manual therapy and the relaying of specific protocols to clients, the formulation of functional rehabilitation plans and applying strength and conditioning priniciples to athletes and the general public.

GEORGE ASHBY

Sports Therapist, BSc, MSST

George is the newest member of our team at Pro-SIM, having graduated with a first class BSc in Sports Therapy (Hons) from the university of Kent. He is also a member of the Society of Sports Therapists.

George has honed his skills working with professionals in the first team at Dover Athletic. This has lead to George becoming the head therapist for Dover Athletic Academy and employment with the renowned academy at Charlton Athletic. 

Clinic interests include the early stages of injury and the introduction of rehabilitation protocols and the implementation of injury prevention protocols.
